Red Belly Blue is Canberra's newest high-energy blues and roots act, playing originals and covers of genre classics. The melody makers are Lily Mulholland on vocals and Stevie Smith on guitar and vocals, while holding down the rhythm are Dean James on bass guitar and Gavin Kelly on drums, storytellers both.

Lily has gigged around Canberra in various line-ups, including in Panaseeya, which was a regional finalist in the ABC's Exhumed competetion. Singer, lyricist and occasional percussionst, she is RBB's front woman.

Stevie is well-known to musicians around Canberra through previous line-ups such as Muddy Wolfe and through his Queanbeyan guitar store, GuitarSmith. On lead guitar, his riffs and style have to be seen to be believed.

Heavy-hitting bass guitar play Dean James knows how to drive a song. He's not just a pretty (bass) face; he is a singer and songwriter, with songs recorded with Muddy Wolfe and now part of RBB's originals and forthcoming recordings.
